I was one of the original staff at Sarabanda. On a work exchange from Queensland, Australia with a friend, we were two of the four Gaijin who were part of the official opening celebrations. We stayed on as Sarabanda employees for six months. Good times, good memories.
I think I’ve never seen photos of Sarabanda when it was still open, but I’m sure it was gorgeous – the coastal area is stunningly beautiful! Do you know anything about the competition between Sarabanda and Himeyuri Park? AFAIK Sarabanda opened later…
