Just to tell you about those model planes, which bears the number of 43-188 (plane at the right). The said plane was A6M5 Zero, and being flown by Shimazu Ozaki until being shot down. Interestingly enough, the plane was in good condition during the excavation at swampy area in Guam. They conducted the restoration and now the Ozaki’s zero was preserved in Hamamatsu Air base. BTW that was a good exploration!
Sorry it wasn’t Shimazu. Its Shinya Ozaki.
