Still remember doing the Dizzy Lizzy. That is where you put your head on a baseball bat and do X number of circles around it. The thing is, we were in MOPP 4 (Mission Oriented Protective Posture) which is where you have your complete NBC (Nuclear, Chemical and Biological) suit on (tops and bottoms, mask and gloves) and then you have to run across a finish line. Spent quite a few ‘moments’ here along with doing pre-PT (Physical Training) workouts before going on runs afterwards. Many, many memories of CFK and Darmstadt.
Played many of unit softball games here. We spent so many day in the field this was a welcome site in the summer. I can’t begin to tell you how many memories these photos bring back. My barracks was too the far left in this photo (1992-1994). Thank you for posting them!
You are welcome! Thanks for stopping by and sharing some of your memories!
Look straight, That is our building next to the tower (Charlie company, 44th Signal Battalion), I was stationed there between 1986 to 1988 as a supply Sergeant.
