All of the photos I publish with articles on Abandoned Kansai are without any form of enhancing post-production – I don’t even crop them; they either look good or they don’t. Every once in a while I like to play with an HDR tool or two. I wouldn’t call those photos enhanced or improved, I would barely call them photos anymore. These photographs are absolutely beautiful and even if they’re not necessarily “photographs” anymore they are definitely works of art in and of themselves.
I am curious, though – which article is the Mount Asama photograph from? I don’t recall seeing it before.

The Mount Asama photo is from a mostly touristy trip to Nagano and Gunma last November – I published the photo without mentioning the trip…
