I served in Pioneer kaserne from 1956-59 with 589th Engineers Supply Co.Back then it was a great Base. Now it looks like a dump, Too bad it was let go like this, My MOS was Truck driver. I enjoyed my Army tour here.I played on the Post baseball on my last yr here. Met some great guys from all over the USA. As I look at these pictures of my army base it breaks my heart to see it look like this. The city of Hanau was a very friendly City. The old Jolly Bar down the road was a good place to people. My ex-wife was from wolf Gang area when we met in 1957 and my 1st son was born 1959 here. and now living here in Michigan.
